Spinach Bloomsdale Organic Seed (Spinacia - oleracea)
An old favorite among gardeners, Bloomsdale has excellent flavor. Fall grown leaves are every bit as succulent as spring leaves and baby greens. If you haven't grown spinach before, the freshness and quality of homegrown will win you over. Bloomsdale is an old, dependable, open pollinated variety. Very nutritious-lots of vitamins A & C, and iron. A good container veggie.
RECOMMENDED: Sow outside 4 to 6 weeks before average last frost, or as soon as the soil can be worked. Successive sowings thereafter every 3 weeks until 4 weeks before the first fall frost. If mulched, spinach can overwinter in sub-zero temperatures.
